A hybrid of live action and CG, present and future, gives these two spots for Deus Ex a viral feel that keeps the viewer guessing where, when and how this happened. This continues a propaganda style campaign that started with posters in the streets of New York city promoting “aug awareness”. We had the pleasure to work with Kenwood Experiences, Eidos Montreal and Square Enix on all aspects of production and post for these pieces. Marcelo Petrella directed these two films which were shot in one day on location in LA. Fellow's CG and VFX team around Vincent Wauters and Benoit Vincent brought the augmented limbs to 'life', in the case of the 'Wine' film, so much so that a full rack of wine got tipped over and filled the liquor store with a wave of red and white wine. That part was not created in CG!
